I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!! Emily is 3 months old already! In some ways it seems like she just arrived and at the same time, I can't remember life without her. She is the happiest baby I've ever seen; always smiling and laughing. She is now sleeping through the night (at least 6 1/2 hours at a stretch) and we're working on sitting up like a big girl. She loves kisses, preferably on her belly or her neck and she is very ticklish.
This week we reached a big milestone, I started back to work and Em started daycare. She is not doing so well with the bottle, but the teachers keep assuring me that she will learn and if she's hungry enough she'll take it. I have been going on my lunch break to feed her to make sure she is getting enough to eat throughout the day. It also helps that I get to see her mid-day and not have to go 8 hours straight without her.
Next week she will reach another big milestone, her first flight to California. The first of many I'm sure. My mom has gotten to see her when she came in October, but no one else from California has seen her in person (Although they have probably seen about 1,000 pictures). I can't wait to show her off!
I'll end this post on a funny note. Last night I fed Em and was burping her when she spit up ALL over me. I quickly handed her to Dave while I wiped myself off and Dave started laughing at me. Well, when Em heard Dave laughing at me she started laughing hysterically, which just made us laugh harder, which made her laugh even harder. It was the best moment we've had as a family to date. :)
